Sometimes, what begins as a game can become the one thing you never expected to lose.

In “Twist of Time,” Ethan Arturo’s life takes an unexpected turn on the day of his father’s burial when he meets Kyle Crisanto, the stepbrother he never knew he had. Still struggling with the emotions of the day, Ethan ends up at a bar, where his attention is caught by Nathalie Andrés, a waitress who isn’t impressed by his charm.

After Nathalie humiliates him, Ethan’s pride takes over. What starts as a simple bet with Kyle to win Nathalie’s affection before the week ends soon becomes far more complicated than either man could have imagined.

As Ethan and Nathalie spend more time together, the game slowly turns into something real. Feelings grow, defenses come down, and Ethan finds himself falling for the very woman he originally intended to win over.

But everything changes when Nathalie discovers the truth about the bet. Feeling betrayed, she walks away from Ethan, even though her feelings for him haven’t disappeared.

Weeks later, unable to completely let go, Nathalie decides she needs one final encounter with Ethan not to restart their relationship, but to find the closure she needs to move forward.
